The bad guy notices his grid restarting, so he has no choice but to go in as police approach the area. Then we get this scene. Grabbing what is supposed to be corrupted disc.

@Calibur329015 @Grinta_96 So in the new movie they visit the grid from the first movie. They used a “laser beam” from the bad guy to teleport a character out of the old grid. I’m guessing it also caught a virus from the old grid. Bringing the villain from part one.
