DOST-PAGASA has released the first tropical cyclone bulletin to Tropical Depression #MaymayPH. ⚠️

Things to know:
• To become a short-lived tropical storm tomorrow, August 4.
• To weaken and become a remnant low by Thursday, August 6.
• To move east-northeastward slowly during the forecast period.
• Landfall scenario in the Ilocos Sur or La Union tomorrow afternoon or evening.
• Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal No. 1 was raised in the whole Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, and some portions of the Central Luzon and Cagayan Valley; winds of 39-61 km/h are likely within 36 hours
• Strong-to-gale gusts are expected tomorrow in most parts of the country due to the wind field of Maymay and the Southwest Monsoon* (#HabagatPH).
