@WhampP @JP77889617 @cargobikeben Horse and Carriages, Trams, Trains before the Dr Beeching swung his axe. Restrictions on cars decimates retail areas. Thereโs plenty of data to prove it.
@JohnJohnStewart@jonburkeUK No surprise there, itโs always the country bumpkins who move to large cities, who then complain that it doesnโt resemble a village. If you want a 15 minute city, stay in your village!
@babybropatto@MatthewStadlen Iโm sure the miners were spearheading the march and profited the most. The disdain for the working classes echoes loudly. Whatโs wrong with wanting to return to more prosperous times, when the Northerners could hold their heads high, and have pride in the towns and cities?
@lambethltnwatch Labour councils are anti car, and anti small business. LTNโs are their silver bullet to crush resistance and debate. Nobody has ever voted or asked for them. Itโs made me realise who not to vote for ever again.
@Bradpittkin@PaulWelshGlobal Emancipation was between 1834-1841 to be precise, but whatโs there to complain about another 60 years or two generations of free Labour?
