A very happy day one year ago. Daughter, Church, family and friends all brought together. What a contrast to today @SaintsN20@Hannah_KW @GregoryPlatten
So that we’re fully prepared for when our church is eventually allowed to welcome it’s people to pray privately, we’ve ordered from these lovely folk, thanks to @FRROBBIE_ for the tip!
Thank you. It’s going to be a challenging week ahead. All credit to our fantastic school leaders for massive work to prepare and be ready to open up as safely as humanly possible @allsaintsn20@SaintsN20
Prayers tonight for our schools, for all Heads, teachers, staff and all parents and carers with children in reception, year 1 and year 6. Prayers especially for all children who go back tomorrow. @LDBS1836 @DioLondonCYW
Thank you to both those teachers and Heads beginning to open more widely tomorrow and to those saying not yet. Both will be criticised, face constantly changing advice and are doing it for the good of their children. There is bravery, morality and duty behind both choices. ❤👩🎓
The risk to a person sitting quietly to pray in a church which is properly cleaned and supervised is surely not greater than a trip to the supermarket? The benefits to that person and countless others will be much greater, though. I wonder why churches not being allowed to open?
This week's announcements by the PM that some indoor sales premises can open Monday and most shops on 15 June, questions directly the reasons why our churches remain closed. It is now time to move to the phased opening of our churches.

Heard presenters on two news programmes in recent days openly say they’re saying many prayers for someone in hospital and their family, and another reveal their favourite hymn. Refreshing lack of embarrassment on display about faith in public life.
