Show support for the Saints Trails completion through to Newquay. Write to the Transport Portfolio Holder for @CornwallCouncil ([email protected]) and/or your local CC councillor (https://t.co/bBaFGztmxN) and/or your local parish/town councillor. #SaintsTrails
@hjd1984@CornwallCouncil Any letters of support would be helpful although I’d avoid a standard letter. These are the pertinent points I think: Accessibility (old rail lines are level), Wellbeing, Nil Carbon Travel, Safe Travel (cycling off dangerous roads), repurposing a historic route. Tourism! 👍
🌉 Watch as a brand new bridge for walkers, cyclists and horse riders is lifted into place above the A30 at Chiverton.
Due to open in late January, the bridge will form part of the Saints Trail route between St Agnes and Threemilestone.
Thanks to @CostainGroup for the footage!
🌉 Chiverton Bridge is taking shape. Due to open in December, it's a new crossing for pedestrians, cyclists and horse riders over the A30 at Chiverton, and part of the Saints Trail linking St Agnes to Threemilestone.

@thereis39733044 Hi. It was Cornwall Council’s decision as a working title. There was some discussion about choosing a more permanent name like the Piran Trail or the Treffry Trail before the Newquay section was paused. The route you mention is the Saints Way … agree it could be confusing!
