Sport Republic have broken Southampton.
They gambled on potential, wasted millions on mediocrity, and lost sight of everything that made us who we are.
Will Still isn’t the cause - he’s the consequence.
Sport Republic have turned once a model club into a mess.

THIS IS HUGE.
Dragan said he would back Tonda and create a squad capable of being promoted next year. Arguably this is one of the biggest pieces of business that does just that.
Peretz & Larin, would be MASSIVE.

🚨 Understand Saints are in advanced talks to re-sign goalkeeper Daniel Peretz on a permanent deal. Pushing to get done quickly, Peretz keen to stay at St Mary’s and help the club get promoted despite interest elsewhere.

“I think we’ll see a lot of legal actions in the future”, Southampton owner Dragan Solak warns EFL, after club’s “ridiculous” Spygate punishment, claiming diving has more influence over matches than spying on rivals ⬇️

Congratulations to Saints and Portugal legend Jose Fonte, who has announced his retirement at the age of 42. 👏🇵🇹
Don’t think it can be overstated what an incredible career he’s had. Euros, Nations League and Ligue 1 winner, amongst more.

Daniel Peretz speaks out for the first time about the scandal that rocked English football 🚨
"The sporting director updated us on how the hearing ended, which is where we received the news. It's frustrating, it's hard; we got there and it was taken away from us. We have no way to change it or influence it. There's no point in me getting bummed out or depressed, but rather to think about what's next. I don't have a bad word to say about the club: I love everyone, I had an amazing time. We went through a sort of trauma, so I need a few days to be with Noa and the family, to think things over with a clear head."

📧 Full email to #SaintsFC CEO Phil Parsons from the club’s Fan Advisory Board in light of Spygate:
"In our view, communications have been poor throughout this process, with much of the information gained by fans coming from sources other than the club.
"Since the CEO note, immediately after the failed appeal, there has been no communication, other than a brief notice about refunds, which made no further apology or recognition of the fan impact.
"In all honesty, the silence is deafening. Being on the front foot is important for our fans. This is not just about apology and internal rectification, even if those aspects are critical.
"It is also about fighting our corner in a manner that maximises unity. Statements on the website should be more frequent, as above; media appearances similarly in the form of live interviews.
"We believe that the club should also organise an urgent Fans Forum within the next week, where key figures from the club (namely Dragan and you [Parsons]) address the fans in a live Q&A format.
"It won't be easy, but past experience suggests this helps a lot e.g. that carried out by Rasmus [Ankersen], Henrik [Kraft] and Martin [Semmens] towards the end of the Nathan Jones era.
"Whilst developments on the recent issues will inevitably take some time to resolve, given legal and disciplinary matters, a more immediate concern is that of season tickets.
"Over 19,000 fans had season tickets last year. They have been badly let down by the club and recent events, and effectively, the results of every game they attended has become irrelevant.
"Season ticket holders are the lifeblood of the club, and we need to help them to want to renew and rejoin the process of rebuilding.
"We feel that a freeze on renewal prices is the minimum such gesture, though a reduction would recognise recent events more accurately.
"We believe that some form of refund should happen for the Middlesbrough games, home and away.
"We absolutely recognise that club costs have risen, and that we need the income to make us competitive on the field.
"However, we also need people to renew, despite being utterly disaffected, and the balance has to err on the side of incentive, in our view.
"Pending a Fans Forum, we suggest holding an emergency FAB meeting with the club to discuss the above matters in more depth, with a group of fans who have shown their commitment and loyalty over many years, and can be trusted to be constructive in our work.
"The club have decided to recruit a new FAB over the summer, but now may not be the best time to go out for candidates.
"The current FAB are happy to continue to work as normal until such time as the new Board is appointed."

A League Arbitration Panel has today dismissed Southampton Football Club’s appeal against the Independent Disciplinary Commission’s decision in respect of breaches of EFL Regulations.
As a result, the original sanction remains in force. Southampton’s expulsion from the Sky Bet Championship Play-Offs stands, alongside the four-point deduction to be applied to the Club’s 2026/27 Championship record and the reprimand in respect of all charges. In accordance with EFL Regulations, the decision of the League Arbitration Panel is final.
Following the conclusion of the proceedings, the Sky Bet Championship Play-Off Final between Hull City and Middlesbrough is confirmed as taking place at Wembley Stadium on Saturday 23 May, kicking off at 3.30pm.

🚨 Breaking: Southampton are preparing to sack head coach Tonda Eckert following the Spygate scandal — sources have confirmed that his position is now viewed internally as increasingly 'untenable' #saintsfc@GraemeBailey

Tonda Eckert admitted he was responsible for the decision to spy on opponents — his key defence was that, since the practice is widespread on the continent, he had no idea he was breaking English football rules.

Believe CEO Phil Parsons has communicated directly to all Saints staff this evening via an internal email, stating that legal team remain confident in strength of their position ahead of appeal tomorrow. For now, preparations for Saturday to go ahead as normal.

Side note
I hope William the young Southampton intern that got caught with the filming is okay and has people around him
As the magnitude of the actions he took, presumably under instruction by higher people at the club is truly disgusting that he was put in that position
