She lied to me about her genotype. She told me she was AA, but she’s actually AS. It’s been a whole year of me trying to get to know her and treating her the best way I could as my girlfriend. I genuinely thought I had found a wife.
Then I found out the truth through her mother.
She had told her mom that I’m AA, so everything was fine. Meanwhile, both of us are actually AS. One day, I went to greet her mom, and we started talking about people with SS genotype. Then my girlfriend said, “Thank God I’m AA, our kids won’t have SS.” I was confused and said, “Wait, I’m AS. You told me you were AA.” Her mom immediately said, “No, my daughter is AS.”
That’s how everything came out.
She lied just to keep the relationship going, because I had already made it clear from the beginning that if we were both AS, we wouldn’t even start dating.
Now it’s been a year already 💔 and I honestly don’t know how to handle this.
but so is the solution.
