@davidscottjaffe To be very clear, the staff with pink hair, trans, non-binary, non-male, non-citizen were the most qualified candidate for that role at the time. Game development is a high skill field of work and everyone that has been hired have had to prove their skill.
@STGshmups Switch is by far the most fun platform to port to, thanks for giving the ports a try!
Incidentally I was surprised how powerful the switch is when coding from scratch.
I worked on a game called True Crime NYC featuring Times Square in New York City.
I am working on a game called Crusader Kings 3 featured in Times Square in New York City.

@Karu_gamo I think that the head can move a bit independently from the upper body and the same with the lower body and front arm.
I can't tell if it is used that way, but that is my guess for the overlaps between those parts.
The sprites can still be further optimized of course.
@henningsanden If you are a programmer and ok with graphics programming Godot offers superior rendering customization as it is open source. The closed source render pipeline of unity forces you into their flow and there are major optimizations you can’t do. But I might be a bit biased :)
I've been occasionally asked about Earthion for MD/Gen lately, so here’s a quick update.
I know many of you are waiting to hear about the pre-order start date. Release plans are still on track for this year. Nothing has changed so far.
Once the ROM is finalized, there are still various verification and production preparation steps, and since the kind of production infrastructure we had back in the day is no longer available, everything simply takes longer.
In the meantime, we’re also working on platform-specific fixes and updates for the modern console versions.
Things are moving forward steadily. Thank you for your patience, and please hang in there just a little longer 🙏
