What @palkisu is saying makes sense. When algorithms become teachers, reels become textbooks , virality becomes truth, when reading disappears, it is misinformation that flourishes. An uninformed generation can be a potential national security risk.
HDFC bank is now
🔻down 22% in the past one year
🔻down 17% in the past 6 months
and up only 8% in the past 5 years!
It has been one of the biggest disappointments for any long term investor in the past 5 years
Results nothing great , margin pressures continue, quarter after quarter sub optimal growth
Still it is one of the most widely owned stocks in actively managed mutual funds
Most large cap and flexicap funds hold HDFC bank in their portfolio
Brokerages are still positive on the stock
Jefferies, Nomura continue to have BUYs, Bernstein have outperform
most large cap funds have such high conviction in HDFC bank
some examples
ICICI pru large cap fund : 9% holding
SBI large cap fund: 9% holding
kotak large and midcap :5%
PPFAS flexicap : 8%
why are funds still so bullish despite severe underperformance ?
Ashni and Avni Biyani just raised 50 crore from Nikhil Kamath for their food startup.
They watched their father lose India's biggest retail empire. They themselves had already built and lost a gourmet food chain called Foodhall in that same collapse. And they still came back and started Foodstories from scratch.
Genuinely one of the more gutsy founder stories I have come across in a while. Most people would have run a mile from retail after watching that up close. These two ran straight at it.
Going to be watching this one very closely.
Most would guess Bollywood’s richest are Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan, Karan Johar or Ranveer Singh.
But the real winners? Shah Rukh Khan & Preity Zinta thanks to their investment in KKR & PBKS.
Lesson: Stardom earns. Smart investing multiplies.
Why is India not a tourism superpower ?
1. Unsafe roads, no pavements, stray animals
2. Dirt, garbage, and lack of hygiene
3. Petty corruption
4. Traffic chaos
5. Poor global branding and perception management
6. Tourism stuck in state-level red tape
7. Pollution
8. No proper city or tourist site infrastructure
9. Inconsistent service standards
10.Biggest of all- lack of civic sense
We have everything- mountains, deserts, beaches, history, spirituality. Yet Malaysia, Turkey, Singapore, Thailand and even the UAE attract more tourists each year than we do.
So the issue isn’t what we have. It’s how we manage it.
Potential is not our problem. Execution is. 🇮🇳
This is a stupid and unforgivable thing to do. We may have political differences between parties but it is completely wrong to disrupt an international event and disgrace India.
The Congress party should apologise at once
There are no jobs in USA, Canada and UK for International students.
Honeymoon is over, parents should think twice before spending crores on the expensive education.
Engg students especially IITians had an easy hack, do masters in the US and get a $200K starting tech job. This hack works no more.

The same experience happened with me .. @cooxonline . they take advance. dont deliver. The employees temper with your personal information and then blame you. Fradulent company -- their investors better be aware @ipventures_in
@cooxonline 1.Had a nightmarish experience because of COOX where an unknown person assigned by this online app enters our space to harm us.Its not only the concern for financial loss but a loss of personal safety and security by these service providers .
The USA wants regime change in India
The UK wants regime change in India
NATO wants regime change in India
China wants regime change in India
They all want regime change because they’re not able to control India like they were during the Congress rule.
I'll tell you how unfair GST works. Let us take a mutual fund distributor. Forget about me. As BJP trolls certify, I'm ultra rich. Let's talk about a mutual fund distributor who is having a revenue of Rs.24 lakhs per annum. After deducting for expenses like petrol, mobile, stationery etc.; he pays tax like any other individual on income. But where he gets punished is around Rs.4 lakhs is paid by him as GST.
He cannot pass on GST to his consumers, the investors. He doesn't have much scope to claim input credit. Is not Rs.4 lakhs, a huge burden placed on a middle class guy, over and above the income tax he pays?
There may be many such professions or instances, where people pay 18% GST as extra tax, over and above income tax, because they can neither pass it on to end customers nor have much scope for input credit.
Whether anyone in finance ministry think about these people? How burdened these people are? Many of them may be self employed middle class professionals.
It is tax, tax and more tax.

Have you noticed that intelligent people are always in doubt and searching for answers and the stupid ones are full of confidence and have all the answers?
