on a real tho, i really truly hope all my friends, mutuals, and just anyone experiencing some of the insane (and literally illegal in a lot of countries) harassment going on rn is okay <3 i’ve had to go to the police myself before for something similar, and i will always be there for anyone who has experienced the same thing

u cannot fall IN LOVE with someone who u do not know, u cannot fall in love with a streamer through a screen. u can look up to someone, admire them, enjoy their content etc..
but u literally cannot fall in love with someone without there even being anything there (a streamer saying hello to u, and chatting back to u when ur in chat does not equate to this)

so plzzz stop saying to streamers “i am in love with you” and phrases of a similar nature. bc unless ur friends, in a relationship with them, or it’s clearly in a jokey manner, then i can guarantee u it makes the majority of streamers uncomfy (unless they’ve stated otherwise)

- and if u truly believe u have fallen in love through a parasocial relationship, then that isn’t healthy, please seek real connections and therapy if necessary :)
