@denys_moz Okay, calling it a โcombat danceโ makes me want to see this in action even more ๐ The idea of attacks adapting to the opponent instead of relying on fixed animations is really interesting.
@denys_moz That makes sense. The time saved alone sounds huge. I'm curious though, how does it handle more extreme proportions, like a tiny character fighting a much bigger one?
@sino1782013 The ground is always the hardest part to get feeling right. Curious to see how the Unreal vs three.js comparison turns out, especially with the vegetation and terrain details.
@dom_scholz@threejs Honestly, spending a game jam actually polishing the game instead of fighting bugs sounds like a dream. Curious how far you can push this workflow in a weekend.
@manafinder@8Blem Honestly, yeah. Non-human party members can make an RPG's party way more memorable, especially when they have their own fighting style. Astrea's animation looks sick.
@KisaDawid This is actually a great physics test. If both collapses play out differently, that's one nasty frame-rate bug to track down. Curious to see the result.
@denys_moz Wait, so the same system can adapt to completely different body types just by tweaking a few parameters? That's actually pretty clever ๐ Now I'm curious how the combat animations will turn out!
@knightofkarate โLoot-drivenโ is all you had to say. Nothing more dangerous than telling me there's better gear waiting in the next dungeon ๐ ๐
@haru2401game LMAO why does this look like the most chaotic fighting game ever ๐ the fact that you can play with a friend on the same PC makes it even better
@PS1patriot ๐ Teaching players a tricky mechanic over a bottomless pit is WILD ๐ At least let us practice on solid ground first! That's just cruel game design ๐ญ๐ฎ
Indie devs, a question ๐๐ฎ
What's the ONE feature your game needs before you can call it complete?
For me, it's never-ending updates ๐ I'm building Sakura Blade Arena solo, and there's ALWAYS something to improve.
Show me what you're working on! ๐

@WeVennStudios Thank you so much! ๐๐ฅน I'm building Sakura Blade Arena solo, so every bit of support means a lot. This is just the beginning โ I'll keep pushing forward! โ๏ธ๐ธ
๐ธ 13 players are already playing Sakura Blade Arena. โ๏ธ
Not 1000. Not 100.
Just 13.
But this is only the beginning.

No big studio.
No huge team.
Just me, passion, and a dream.
I wonโt stop.
Remember this. ๐

@sgradegames Three exits and three new places to explore? ๐๐ฅ Love when a starting area makes you curious about what's waiting beyond it. The basements sound especially interesting! Keep it up! ๐ฎ
