I have this crazy theory that Charlotte
Perospero is Perona’s father. They have an almost identical laugh. Not to mention her hair color and style matches the Charlotte family. It wouldn’t surprise me if she left the family to be a pirate or if he doesn’t claim her #ONEPIECE〜
not a movie but the 'How I Met Your Mother' finale is hailed as one of the worst sitcom conclusions due to the way it wasted away the shows entire buildup
Tracy dying with Ted running back to robin just felt so distasteful and rushed
Just an opinion but:
I DONT CARE IF YOU'RE FLIPPING BURGERS, I DONT CARE IF YOU'RE FIXING CARS, I DON'T CARE IF YOU'RE PICKING UP TRASH... IF YOU WORK 40 HOURS A WEEK DOING ANYTHING THATS CONSUMING YOUR TIME FOR MONEY YOU DESERVE TO BE PAID A LIVABLE WAGE.
You're a human being and your time is valuable regardless of what you're doing to make endsmeat. Personally I dont even know why this has to be a serious topic of discussion...lt just shows you how little people actually care about others.
@turntineforwhat Omg I was so sad for him. Because I got what he was tryna do but this wasn’t the place for it. And he could’ve done amazing if he sang a less engaging song g
Hypothetically........ I'm being taxed on money I never made. Let that sink in.
If I bought my property outright for $120,000 in 2001
Now the county says it’s worth $499,100.
Did I sell it? No.
Did I make a profit? No.
Did I get a check for $499,100? No.
But my taxes jumped like I did.
That's the problem.
This isn't income.
This isn't cash.
This is a number someone decided on paper - and now I'm being billed for it.
If my stock portfolio doubles, I don't pay taxes until I sell.
If my income doesn't increase, I don't magically owe more income tax.
So why does owning a home work differently?
Why am I being taxed on unrealized gains?
A house isn't just an investment, it's where people live.
And this system means you can do everything right, pay off your home, and still get squeezed harder every year because of a number you never turned into money.
You don't truly own something if you can be taxed out of it.
This isn't about "services" or "inflation."
It's about being charged for value you never received.
And people are starting to notice.
My rent went up 22%.
My groceries went up.
My insurance went up.
My utilities went up.
My paycheck didn’t.
Apparently I’m getting richer according to the statistics though 😭
Insurance: “That’ll be another $1,000 this year.”
At this point I’m paying for things I didn’t even do.
The government says inflation is under control.
My rent, groceries, insurance, and utility bills seem to have missed the memo.
We barely survive. I shouldn’t be 30k away from three figures and struggle to take care of myself and one other person. It’s not my budgeting that’s the problem, it’s the cost of the world.
Bullshit, I make 70k/yr
Over 2.5k of my monthly income goes to taxes, insurance, and retirement. Leaving me with 3.5k/mo. My rent is 2320. I have an almost 400/mo car payment, not to mention groceries alone are 500-600/month for just the basics. And the bills keep going.
My bf makes 47k/yr and he too has taxes, insurance, bills and expenses and ends up paying most of our groceries, if not all with what he has left over after. And still we are struggling. Gas is 70-80 a tank. We have 2 cars. I fill up 3 sometimes 4 times a month for one car
Boomer: ‘Why don’t you just buy a house?’
GenZ: OK boomer, median home price is $430k, I make $35k, need $86k down payment. Even if I saved 100% of my income, it takes 2.5 years just for the down payment.
By then, prices rose another $50k.’
Math doesn’t care about your feelings.
“I cook for my husband”= You’re a slave
“We split the bills”= Your husband is useless
“I spoil my wife”= You’re a simp
“I dress modestly”= You’re in an abusive marriage
“My wife and I make decisions together”= You’re not a real man
“I can’t do random nights out because I’m married” = You’re husband/wife is controlling
“My wife earns more than me”= You’re a useless leech
“My husband is the breadwinner”= You have no say since you bring nothing to the table
“I don’t need a male/female bestie because I’m married”= Your partner is insecure
This is how some of you see the world 😂
Y’all are far too pathetic and miserable to really understand what goes into making a marriage successful. Happy couples should keep it to themselves because you guys will find a fault in everything they do.
America could never. Something like this would be either A) destroyed in its first month-year or B) reckless idiots would cause physical harm to themselves or others resulting in it being shut down. Our country is not raised with respect like theirs.
they didn’t talk about how America punishes you for being responsible.
Saved money? Too much to qualify for aid.
Good credit? Here’s a higher car insurance rate in some states.
Stayed at your job? Inflation ate your loyalty raise.
Paid your student loans? No forgiveness for you.
Bought a house? Here’s a 40% property tax increase on your equity.
Didn’t have kids? No tax credits for you.
Had kids? Daycare costs more than your rent.
Every responsible decision has a hidden fee attached to it.
And every time you climb one rung higher on the ladder something comes along and taxes the view.
This country doesn’t reward responsibility.
It just finds more sophisticated ways to bill you for it.
To Muslims who are thinking about living in Japan.
There is something I want to say honestly first.
Life in Japan was not built around your faith.
Ramen may contain pork-bone broth.
Convenience store food may contain pork-derived ingredients.
In summer, there are shrine festivals.
At New Year, many people visit shrines for hatsumode.
When someone dies, cremation is the norm.
At drinking gatherings, there is also a culture of pouring drinks for others.
This is not harassment.
It is simply the everyday life that Japanese people have built over a long period of time.
Of course, your faith should be respected.
But in the same way,
Japanese culture and customs should also be respected.
Before coming here and saying, “I want this changed,”
please think carefully about whether this country truly fits you.
Japan does not exist to reject anyone.
But it also does not exist to be remade
for someone else’s convenience.
