@Skwigglee Quite balanced, but the higher those winrates get the less balanced the meta feels. I think one piece is in a position where winning/losing matchups feel too polarised and hitting one very bad matchup can ruin an entire run. This isn't good design.
@Skwigglee A meta can be unbalanced while also being a triangle I think. The "spikier" the triangle the less balanced the meta feels e.g. if deck A has a 55% winrate vs deck B, B has 55% winrate into deck C and C has a 55% winrate into deck A then the meta is triangular but can feel
@OPtopdecks There's lots of reasons designers make bad cards:
- to make good cards seem better
- for limited format
- to teach new players good vs bad
- to simplify testing envrnmnt
- only certain amount of time to design the good cards of a set, the rest has to be fodder
@maebatsu@c_optcg@Ninja_V_Ice It's a great card, but with the current targets (kuzan, borsa, Hina, Koby) it's not a strong enough 7 drop to keep up with offerings from other archetypes.
@MrBeast If you are working 15 hours a week you are broke. That doesn't sound easy to me. If you mean 15 hours a day that also doesn't sound very easy.
@Fennikuss Hey man!!! Congrats on your success!! I have been playing smoker since op02 (top 32 in op04, op06 and op08.5) but I am struggling with top 16. Your build is very similar to mine.
How do you beat Nami? What is your secret?
@Skwigglee 100%
If every card is a big bomb with no downside, gameplans boil down to playing your boss monster and passing. Skill and smart play get sidelined by drawing well. Competing in tournaments starts to feel like rolling dice to see who wins.
@Vampyrgaming How is this like Bonney? I'm not seeing the comparison. Unless you just mean "it rests stuff" the two abilities couldn't be more different
