Pathway of Hope family nights consist of a dinner, speaker presentation and a chance for the parents and the children to form relationships. These relationships provide a network of support.

Did you know between May through September of this year our Emergency Shelter had 50% of the residents exit to positive outcomes! 👏👏👏
That means they went into permanent housing, they were re-united with family or moved into a permanent facility.

The Association of Fundraising Professionals held their annual Philanthropy Day celebration. Honorees were recognized for their work with local non-profits. The Salvation Army of Sarasota County was proud to honor Mr. Dale Woodling.

Due to increased need this season, we are extending registration for families in Sarasota County. Tuesday, October 17th and Wednesday, October 18th 9am- 3pm. Sarasota location 1701 S. Tuttle Ave. South County families can go to our Venice location 1051 Albee Farm Rd.
On Saturday evening, October 7th we held our Welcome Home event in Wellen Park.
This event brought together those who were interested in learning more about our programs and services as well as current supporters!

Our friends at JFCS of the Suncoast are hosting their 12th Annual Stand Down for Veterans.
Veterans can visit our canteen and our Advisory Board members for beverages and snacks. They can visit our table where staff are eager to answer questions about programs and services.
Children not only need safety but someone to help them with homework, fun time to unwind after a day of learning and of course friendship.
Our after school program can offer all of that and more!

Advisory Board member, John Strickland was inducted as a Life Member by Area Commander, Lt. Colonel Michele Matthews.
John has served on our Advisory Board since 1991. He was recommended by his board peers and approved at territorial headquarters, by the territorial commander.
Yesterday, two new members were inducted on to our Advisory Board.
