Big thanks to @UKLabour Uxbridge candidate @ARMilani_ for doing what @BorisJohnson promised but failed to do - lie down in front of a bulldozer to stop the construction of a 3rd runway at Heathrow. #nothirdrunway in a #ClimateEmergency
@HughFW Deposit and return is a good start but not perfect. Much less gets produced and the glasses are better quality and easier to recycle. £2 per glass encourages people to reuse. Lots of festivals are using this method.
Hey, Maybot! Leave those kids alone! The children involved in today's protests have learnt about civics, democracy, climate change and politics. They have also been an inspiration to many adults

This must be a joke! An award to a woman who wanted to sell off our forests, voted for a 3rd runway at Heathrow, is trying to destroy our rural countryside and communities with fracking? Should be charged with ecocide - not rewarded!
This is a shout out to all of YOU, for your support and for adding your voices and making lots of noise about this issue! We have to pull all the levers that are possible to make a difference & we need to pull them now! #BritainsFatFight
.@Oreo have a special visitor. We’ve come with over 40 volunteers, activists and an orangutan to tell “the world’s favourite cookie that they need to ”drop the largest palm oil trader on 🌍"

I flew into Kuala Lumpur a few weeks ago, and saw palm plantations as far as the eye can see. It was green, but it looked like a desert. Suddenly I felt frightened for the future of the planet. Support @GreenpeaceUK's petition: https://t.co/07NXh9y8Bl

It's a shame that Iceland’s ad about #PalmOil has been banned from TV for being “political”. Concern for the planet isn’t political, it’s #ethical! You won't see it on TV this Christmas, but you can see it here: https://t.co/oIMihDaaXl
