Some thoughts on $MRVL & $IREN earnings

$MRVL Marvell's call made it clear the AI buildout is spreading past just GPUs into networking, optics, and custom chips, and it's happening quicker than people expected. They raised FY27 guidance to about $12B (45% growth) and FY28 to about $18B (50% growth), with data center revenue growing 60%+ both years. The interesting part is connectivity, not the Google deal, was actually the bigger driver behind that FY28 raise. The Google warrant revenue through FY28 was already in prior guidance, so the real upside from that relationship doesn't show up until FY29 and later. That $120B number everyone's been throwing around is a best-case ceiling tied to hitting milestones, not locked-in revenue, and their Investor Day on October 6 should give a clearer picture of what that actually looks like. Even with a strong beat and raise quarter, the stock sold off after hours, basically because expectations were already priced for perfection after this year's massive run, so a great quarter still wasn't enough.

$IREN IREN's Q4 numbers looked strong on the surface, $4B in contracted ARR and $14B in cash plus financing, with revenue roughly in line. But EBITDA missed by almost half and full year revenue came in below estimates. Deals aren't closing anywhere near the pace management keeps promising, even though they say the GPUs and infrastructure are ready to go. The CEO sounded like he was just reading off a script on the call, not actually running the business or fielding questions with any real conviction. Execution still isn't matching the story they keep telling.

$VRT is one of my favorite stocks that’s trading at a discount! I can’t comprehend how this stock is doing so poorly, it feels like a no brainer 🧠

Vertiv is one of the purest ways to play the AI buildout because they supply the power and cooling infrastructure every data center needs, and as AI chips run hotter and denser, their liquid cooling systems have become mission-critical rather than optional. Their project backlog has more than doubled to over $15 billion, Q1 2026 revenue grew 30% year over year, and management raised full-year guidance to imply 30% organic growth, proof that demand is accelerating, not slowing.

Long term, this seems like one of the easiest trades… 📈
