《 stop until they were found again. If only she had been there from the start...

She decided to check out a shadier part of the city, her gaze intense and devoid of hope. She'd searched so many places that it had fizzled out days ago.

She just had to find them...

How long has it been since she sat down and rested? Too long to dwell on it truthfully.

There were two children out there, two children she'd been charged with watching, and now they were gone. No leads, no suspects... nothing.

Nemuri had made her mind up that she wouldn't

Another day.... she's barely slept since it happened.

How could she?

"T-The... Aizawa children are missing," she began, her voice breaking, "get a search party ready. I'll... call Shota and Hizashi."

How could she have let this happen..?

Nemuri hated how busy her day to day life was.

She'd been looking forward to watching young Eri and Shinso while her two dear friends were on their honeymoon, overjoyed even. Time to sit back and enjoy some time with two outstanding kids? She wouldn't have dreamed of

《 house.

There were no signs of the children save for the coloring book still outside and the TV still playing in the living room. Shinso's bike was gone, but that was something Nemuri wouldn't realize until later.

Her phone was out and calls were being made left and

@isolatedbairn "Pancakes, huh?"

Nemuri hadn't made pancakes herself in years, but for such a darling little thing she'd give it a try.

"Consider it done, sweetie," she crooned, smile warming. "Do you like anything extra in your pancakes?"

Watching young Shinso walk up with the rings had warmth blossoming in Nemuri's chest, her own bouquet of flowers she had brought for the happy couple now crushed against her chest.

Yes, her makeup is smeared because she is a mess. Don't judge her.
