🧹GHMC Steps Up: Special Sanitation Drive from Feb 3–28 !!

#GHMC will conduct a citywide Special Sanitation Drive from February 3 to 28, covering 300 divisions every day across Hyderabad. The drive will focus on removal of legacy waste, municipal solid waste, construction & demolition (C&D) waste, green waste, and waste generated from engineering and urban biodiversity works.

Cleaning will be taken up phase-wise across key public locations, including:
* Flyovers and Foot Over Bridges.
* Roadsides, dividers and central medians.
* Footpaths and parks.
* Lakes and nalas.
* Areas around electric transformers and poles.

Special teams will clear identified legacy waste sites, remove C&D waste using dedicated vehicles, and eliminate Garbage Vulnerable Points (GVPs). Along with sanitation works, awareness programs with citizens, schools and RWAs, e-waste collection, reuse through RRR Centres, and spot fines for littering and open urination will be enforced.
