You ask why Allah would allow 600 years to pass before correcting distortions

Maybe ask yourself first: why did God allow the Children of Israel to spend centuries worshipping idols even after witnessing miracles?

Divine truth is given — human beings are tested with it

Corrupting revelation is part of human free will

Correcting it comes when humanity has reached a point where arrogance has drowned reason and only a final message can revive it

Islam didn’t come late
