Two nights of Sectional Track & Field wrapped up. Girls ran well last night and Boys ran well tonight. Some nice new PRs and Aiden took 6th to score in the 800 and the boys 4x400 team of Joey, Quinn, Calvin and Aiden took 5th to score.

First day of Sectionals in the book. Hot hot day. Quinn took 3rd in the HJ and just missed the jump off for first place. Aiden had a new PR in TJ and the other athletes powered through the heat to compete.

Group 5 Sectional entries have been submitted. And the Track & Field teams get ready for a busy week. Co-ed Field events on Monday in Berlin. Girls running events on Wednesday at Hoosic Valley and Boys running events on Thursday at Hoosic Valley. It will be a busy busy week!

Last dual meet of the season last night. Many PBs and lots of fun. Girls competed well for the size of the team and the Boys pulled out the elusive unicorn in Track & Field with a tie against Whitehall.

Great meet at home against Granville. Granville came out on top in both contests but it was much closer than expected. Also so some smart racing. Experience is starting to pay dividends.

Last Home Meet of the sea s on was postponed from tonight (5/26) to tomorrow night Thursday 5/27. Come celebrate our Super Seniors.

Salem Track and Field competed against Lake George today and lived up to their Small but Mighty moniker. A number of PRs and great racing. PRs in HJ, Discus, 800, 1600 400H and others.
