@nodak651@NotCoachFarley@putmeincoach03 The whole point is to increase the value of the conference. If there’s any concern of destabilization it’s already a bad choice. Those aren’t value added a schools by any means. They haven’t won anything, they have no spectator support, and small alumni base with only 7Kstudents
@NotCoachFarley@putmeincoach03 St Thomas has less than 7K students, not many people in Minnesota are tuning into those games. I doubt viewership for the league would increase. They are investing in their program. But they were a D2 program 4 yrs ago. It’s to early. There better schools to go after first
@armyblue@RedbirdsBack Wright State, Hight Point, Mercer, Cambell, UT Arlington would be good additions, geographically further but if we just look for schools in the Midwest that will downfall to conference as there no schools worth adding. St Thomas would be awful add. Nobody wants to travel up there
@RedbirdsBack Should also try to figure out if it’s feasible to recruit Wichita State back to MVC. They haven’t been competitive in any sport since they left for the AAC.
@RedbirdsBack Wright state is the best mid major that would bring the most value to the MVC by a landslide. Good sports and school spirit there. Horizon league will do whatever it takes to prevent them from leaving though. But MVC needs them. Omaha is investing a lot of money into athletics
@TheCrusadersSw1 @_dhutchinson @CJ_Patterson96 Demario - great additions? They’ve kept all their top scorers and have the best recruiting class in the MVC. I’m not sure you have any clue what’s going on in the MVC
@MVCMadness@MVCHoopsCentral That’s an awful addition. No competitive upside at all. And their in Minnesota. Every sport will be outside when it’s freezing up there with the temperature difference. Need Wright State in the conference as they bring major upside for baseball and basketball and a new market
