#InternationalTeaDay
☕🇮🇳 India runs on chai (tea). From early morning meetings to late-night conversations, tea is part of everyday life.
As one of the world’s largest tea producers, India’s tea sector supports millions of livelihoods across the country. 🌱
This #InternationalTeaDay, here’s to every chai break that brings people together and to the communities behind every cup. 🤎

6E 6835 at Mumbai scheduled to depart at 12:45 am, but delayed till 7 am in the morning.
Very poor communication, lack of transparency and terrible, terrible handling by the @IndiGo6E team.
Absolutely horrendous.
Many of us missed our connecting flights!
“We are the most intellectual species to walk the planet, but we’re not intelligent. If you’re intelligent you don’t destroy your only home.”
Dr. Jane Goodall, DBE, founder of @JaneGoodallInst and UN Messenger of Peace, spoke at the 2025 #ForbesSustainabilityLeaders Summit.
all these peace talks - puts a particular area in suspended animation, till the resolution of such.
It’s the current “boogey” who will loose the most.
I can’t imagine an aspiring nation-state who can’t adhere to basic 21st century principles.
This is the right way to go.
many youngsters are coming to the realisation that - ‘was it really worth it?’
the pain, the displacement, the insult - even after decades of fratricidal conflict, seemingly even within the same state, and with stakes on both sides of the fence.
In defense of Truth:
GPRN/NSCN rallies behind Indigenous Kukis & asserts that to question the Kuki-Naga national workers would be tentamount to questioning the very essence of Naga history itself.
GPRN/NSCN also denounce the devious stratagems of the opportunistic "Late Entrants" to the Naga Movement who seeks to distort the shared history & identity of Nagas with deceptive narratives.
In a statement, GPRN/NSCN reiterated, "the Kukis of Nagaland, as stakeholders, would wholeheartedly welcome an honorable political solution between the central government & Nagas of Nagaland."
According to GPRN/NSCN, "The contribution of the Kukis to the Naga political movement from 1929 to date was remarkable, for the fact that they had stood shoulder to shoulder with the Naga pioneers in the political movement, much earlier than the Naga (Kacha Naga) brothers from Manipur & this fact of history could not be erased & to question the Kuki Naga national workers would be questioning the very essence of Naga history itself. They were also asked to ignore the false scripts of those late entrants of the Naga movement who were trying to rewrite & diminish Naga history, identity & culture with dubious impractical narrative.
GPRN/NSCN also said legendary Lengjan Kuki, the only Kuki signatory to the January 10, 1929 memorandum to the British Statutory Commission, remained a beacon of light for indigenous Kukis of Nagaland."

You can find the extension of my study - on the conversation around local communities, small places and their narratives as part of @Nagrika fellowship - https://t.co/5ZHMCIrEls
What about local communities?
I think that question rings, sometimes, in discussion tables or in Conferences.
How do we position such a narrative, where you know, these communities are actively resisting - big figures charting out their lives and livelihoods, their agencies 1/n
@MehroozW Heresy shouldn’t be punishable in the first place.
This is why both ideological spectrum in Pakistan is compromised. You play tiddy-daddy in levers.
No excuse for Hindutva though.
