Don’t get me wrong, it wasn’t happy clappy.

There just wasn’t that ramped up loss of emotional regulation which so quickly turns to abuse or violence.

Watched a GR men’s game in Bristol this afternoon.

A stand in volunteer ref doing his best.

Both teams really wanted to win.

The ref made mistakes but there was no violence, no abuse, no tantrums.

It can be done.

So why do we accept so much less?

What if the kids want to play "all v all"?

You ask another through the portal.

And you ask to speak to a person

You get another cut and paste answer telling you they’re waiting for you to answer and will close things in 48 hours.

Don’t we deserve better than this as volunteers?

Is anyone else having problems getting any kind or proper answer from @FA Player Registrations? It has gone to an automated ticket system.

So you input a question in their “portal”.

Get a cut and paste answer which doesn’t help.

We’re still seeking some expert advice on our pitch (hired from the county Council) as it appears to have been overwhelmed by weeds. Can any grounds person out there help with some basic info about this and any implications of a weed infested pitch for player safety?

PLAYERS NEEDED‼️

Our lads have had such an unlucky start to the season with injuries.

Two broken arms, serious ligament damage, hamstring pulls, ankle injury, 2 x knee injuries, the list goes on ☹️.

You just couldn’t make it up. 😢😢

So we are looking for new recruits!

@cdrluk This is the response from @easyJet head office to my detailed complaint.

A pro forma response which shows no evidence of the case being investigated, not even the customer’s name is used.

How do I escalate to you with the least amount of stress?

The heartbreaking state of our pitch. A pitch we pay for. Despite our volunteers’ best efforts to ask the Council to do the work to make it safe & playable.

Our men’s training & matches have had to move & our children’s season has been postponed. 😢 💔 More to follow…..
