I'm leaning towards starting with exponent properties so that they're all on the same page, but I'm not sure where to fit in material that a small handful learned and the others *maybe* looked at briefly.

Context: I teach Algebra 1A and 1B to students with special needs. The majority had a decent grasp of linear equations & graphing in person, but struggled independently online. Handful of them aced systems of equations while in SIP.
