A heart-wrenching farewell. A bereaved father holds his martyred child following an airstrike that targeted the Al-Nafaq Street area in Gaza City, leaving martyrs and wounded, including children.
Just see this photo and ask yourself - WHY?
From national TV to this stark reality - WHY?
Dr. Pranaya Ray, one of the architects of modern Indian TV news, co-founder of NDTV, and a renowned economist, chartered accountant, pollster, journalist and author - who pioneered election forecasting in India - is now travelling across West Bengal, recording interviews on his own mobile phone for his digital platform Dekoder @DeKoderAI.
Salute to Dr. Roy (@PrannoyRoy7749) for remaining an inspiration to honest journalism across the globe.
What has changed? Who is accountable?
History will not forget. Nor will it forgive.
This is one of the most heartbreaking stories coming out of Gaza.
For nine months, 37-year-old Raed al-Mureidi has been trapped in a medical nightmare. While searching for food for his family at a U.S./Israeli aid distribution point, aka Kill Zones, Raed was shot in the head by the Israeli terrorist forces.
The bullet fractured his skull, leaving him paralyzed and unable to speak.
As his condition deteriorates, a mass has begun to form in his head. Because of the ongoing brutal Israeli blockade and the destruction of Gaza’s healthcare system, the surgery he needs to survive is impossible to get locally.
Israel and its terrorist system have denied his travel permit for nearly a year.
Raed is now a symbol of thousands of others caught in a savage system that blocks both food and the medicine needed to survive.
The heartbreaking video is below.
