Just came across an interesting insight from a paper i'm reading in the 'International Journal of Design':

When participants were asked to rate flip top lighters, a relationship between luxury perceptions and sounds was characterized as ‘matte’, ‘even’ and ‘low-pitch’.

The goal of designing a ballpoint pen in the next few months is twofold.

Briefly:

1) To allow my pen to be a product that acts as a gateway into luxury design and manufacturing.
