I am deeply concerned and distressed by reports of the alleged harassment of a girl student at #RPSchool, Malabagh by one of its teachers. Even more distressing are allegations that the school authorities attempted to suppress the matter to protect the institution’s reputation.

I urge @SrinagarPolice to take immediate cognisance of the matter, conduct a fair, impartial and time-bound investigation and ensure that anyone found guilty is dealt with strictly in accordance with the law.

Hon'ble MLA Lal chowk @ahsanpardesi resolved the long-pending demand of the residents of Dalgate, a significant step forward with the tendering of the construction of a deep drain from UNO Road to the residence of Mohammad Rafiq Hajam at Sulaiman Tang, at an estimated cost of ₹43.79 lakh.

This is one of several developmental works being undertaken in the area this year as part of our commitment to improving civic infrastructure.
