Best Indiana Jones style game?
My choice is Joe Gunn on the Commodore 64.
You’re a guy in a tomb who just found a scarab in a skeleton’s hand and now has to figure out what the hell it opens before the snakes notice you.
That’s the whole trick.
70+ flip-screen rooms. Hidden switches. Hieroglyphs you should read to get the who story. A flute that hypnotizes snakes. Books that wake mummies or put them back to sleep. Rolling boulders - you can't get more Indy than that. Floor spikes. A cowhide that “once belonged to Indiana Jones.”
You search the floor. You hang from ledges. You stand there like an idiot until the room makes sense, and I do this alot. Even completing the game previously, I still forget how certain rooms were completed.
It plays like Raiders if Raiders was a 2007 homebrew that respected your time and your brain.
What this game is a forgotten pyramid, a king erased from history, and the quiet feeling that you probably shouldn’t be here.
The graphics are simple but the animation is excellent, just look at how Joe climbs ledges. Music does all the atmosphere work.
If Montezuma’s Revenge and Rick Dangerous had a smarter, meaner, more atmospheric kid, this is it.
The edgy take in the training world these days is to avoid heavy barbell training cus there are "better alternatives"
Meanwhile majority of influencers/coaches who promote this Built Their Base horsecocking heavy shit before switching to machines, etc
Makes you think
Gym 3-4 times a week
8-10k steps when possible
Protein in my meals
Enough water
Good sleep
Trying to make healthy choices without making my life miserable.
EmuDeck 2.7 is out, and it’s a pretty big step for emulation for the Steam Machine.
>The update adds default 1080p and 4K presets for selected emulators, so users won’t have to manually configure resolutions for a TV or monitor.
>It also adds AutoMap controller support, including up to four players and controllers like Xbox, DualSense, Steam Controller and 8BitDo.
Other changes include:
- RetroAchievements support for Dolphin
- Resolution controls for PPSSPP, Xemu, Vita3K, Azahar and PrimeHack
- Easier migration of an EmuDeck setup between Steam Deck, Steam Machine, Linux and Windows
- Several RPCS3, Ryujinx, Xemu and other emulator fixes
[A stunning mod with unbelievable modes such as third person view, 2-4 player co-op, mirrored and expanded levels and more!]

release histories can reveal more about a consumer product than a polished feature page, because they show what the team is actually changing over time.
looking at @sleepagotchi through that lens, the recent sequence is more interesting than any single feature.
the app added Sleep Coach mode in June, describing it as a way to analyze sleep and provide personalized recommendations. Later releases focused on bug fixes and stability, while the September 2 update added new roads to the game world.
That sequence suggests a product being developed across different layers at once: intelligence, reliability, then additional game-world content.
I find that important because Sleepagotchi is not relying on one mechanic to carry the experience. Sleep data can become an input for personalized feedback, while the game layer gives that information somewhere to live beyond a conventional dashboard. Stability work then becomes part of the same product equation, because none of those layers matter much if the basic interaction is unreliable.
There is also a useful distinction between adding capability and adding context.
Sleep Coach changes what the application can do with sleep information. New roads change what that information connects to inside the game experience. They are different types of product development, but both affect how a night of sleep is represented after the user wakes up.
That makes the current evolution worth watching at the product level rather than through campaign mechanics. The more coherent those layers become, the less Sleepagotchi resembles a simple tracker with rewards attached and the more it becomes a system where data, feedback and progression occupy different parts of the same user journey.
The open question is not whether each individual feature exists. It is whether those layers continue to reinforce one another as the product expands.
This is my personal perspective and not a call to participate or invest.
