@jgkps Give it some more time. I've been using the 7455 for a couple months now as my daily driver, and there are some...issues. Drivers (particularly the camera) are buggy af. Some software compatibility will also drive you mad (good luck with Docker, for example).
@MikeDanoski Multiple remediations, actually, because of the size limit on responses from remediations (there's a lot of unsupported reg keys). So we split them in order to be able to return JSON results that can be consumable into other tools.
@MikeDanoski There's a load of reg key settings that are not supported by Settings Catalog (many of which dictated by CIS benchmarks). We keep a running JSON in a remediation for those, to keep those set in at least an auditable way.
@MikeDanoski Is there support for user-provided justifications for elevation without the need for admin approval? The primary challenge with removing local admin is data gathering, and ideally that could be accomplished without unnecessary admin overhead.
So what are folks strategy for moving to EntraID Join from Hybrid Join? Attrition? Forced wipe/reload? What's the sales pitch to end users? #intune#sccm#configmgr#configman#windows
@jgkps Right, so pure attrition then. I'm interested in paths to move faster. So we're holding "Windows 11" as a carrot on the stick for a self-service wipe/reload. To users, it's an upgrade. To us, it's "no more Hybrid."
@BlizzardCSEU_EN None of the verification options apply to me. It keeps asking about WoW accounts (I don't remember if I've ever played WoW), or bank statement transactions. I haven't purchased anything from Blizzard in years. How can I proceed, as it appears not possible to open a ticket?
I buy chips. Because chips are cheap, and chips are delicious. But every time, I find myself disappointed that I didn't buy @Pringles instead.
That sounds like an ad, but I just really love Pringles.
It eventually does update, but the timing of it is inconsistent in my testing (sometimes 24 hours, sometimes longer). I'm looking to figure out how that refresh is actually happening, and if I might be able to force it to occur.
Anyone know how to get the local user token to be refreshed with AzureAD group membership on an Azure AD Joined device (e.g., the "whoami /GROUPS" output)? Assuming that group is a member of, say, BUILTIN\Users already.
#MEM#MSIntune#Intune#windows#AzureAD
@MEM_MVP Does Intune really encourage us to that? I mean, I use dedicated deployment collections (or groups, on the Intune side), and have sub-collections/groups populating those things. Then I never modify my assignments, but I modify the scope all I want.
My new favorite thing - Bing's new ChatGPT bot argues with a user, gaslights them about the current year being 2022, says their phone might have a virus, and says "You have not been a good user"
Why? Because the person asked where Avatar 2 is showing nearby
(1/2) This new (quickly written) blog will show you my experiences with the new Microsoft Store App functionality in Intune.
Read part 2 of this tweet for the details.
