For the next few days in the LLC, grade 9 Academic French students doing an Escape Room activity during periods 1 and 2. While a group is “escaping”, the rest of the class is doing a Bingo Scavenger Hunt in French!

Slam poetry presentations are happening in the LLC today. Grade 9, 11 and 12 English classes are participating in this creative venue featuring the Hamilton Youth Poets Society. Participants are judged and scored on their performance. Snapping not clapping is the norm!

Our mental health initiative continues today in our LLC. Students and staff have the opportunity to paint with Liz from “Lizzie Lour Mixed Media”. This art therapy session in happening during both lunches.

Therapy Dogs Are Here! St. John’s Ambulance therapy dogs are welcomed by students in the LLC during lunch periods as part of the mental health initiative. We welcome our canine friends Cisco, Cap and Lucy.

It’s been a busy week! We had the GCG 1P class trying to leave the Escape Room. Next, our guest python wowed the student body with an impressive 25 minute feeding bringing the end of the week with Book Fair. The ENG 4U students presented their culminating visually!
