Honestly didn't expect to spend over 2 hours on a single DLC, but here it is. Definitely a rocky start, but I came around by the end of it. Link's in the replies-
@ShroudedSlayer I would definitely argue that a lot of the improvements made to the game should have been there from the start. But PL 100% felt like the definition of a DLC story that added on to the main game. I wouldn't have expected it to be there from the beginning

@Switchtreha I got you. 1. Ultra Plus Best Performance and Visuals for Everyone 2. General Shadows Fixes 3. Weather Probability Rebalance 4. Better Vehicle Handling. Those will all have dependencies obviously, but Nexusmods will tell you what those are
@PlayStaySherwin Lmfao that's actually hilarious. I don't think AI was even at that level when the video came out. I don't know whether to feel irritated or honored
Took a look at my game of the year every year from here on out, Bloodlines 2. Truly impeccable writing and genuine care for the VtM universe. Definitely not a complete mockery of the lore or anything like that. Link's in the replies-
@RealQuirrel Yeah I think I said all of that in the video, even drawing the same parallel to how I felt about The Veilguard lol. So it seems we're on the same page
@RealQuirrel Hey man, I'm a sucker for flashy and quick combat. It's not as fulfilling as a game with stat blocks, attribute points and meaningful skills, and I would take that over B2 all day. But why drive myself crazier over the lack of deeper mechanics when I enjoy it on a surface level?
@the_nihilator I think I'd like to try to stream it and get a feel for whether it's worth a video or not. I'm overall not opposed, though it did crash over and over when I tried streaming it the first time. So maybe I'll give it another shot now that some time has passed
Decided to cover a little known small time indie project that few have heard of. Will probably move on to something more prolific next. Link's in the replies-
@100gecs6 Absolutely! I've only played Original Sin 1 and 2, plus BG3, but I've loved all three. It might be fun to revisit some of the older games and go from there
