Further - how can you tell in a modern car if a car is unlocked without pulling on the handle?

That is not crime prevention. It is a government-issued scouting report and a likely a 4th amendment violation - especially if handles are being pulled. If anything is stolen after VBPD advertises the vulnerability with a big orange sticker, the City has some explaining to do.

If you get one let me know - especially if it says “failed”. Looks like VB needs to be sued again.

I am pro police. Make no mistake. But putting a bright orange sticker on someone’s car telling everyone her car is unlocked is absolutely idiotic!

When the leadership of a police department makes decisions to harass residents - I will always stand up for the citizen - especially in my hometown.

I have received many of the “warnings” from you. What VBPD is doing is not right. I have filed a FOIA request to see if VBPD leadership is using this as a precursor for other reasons. No cop wants to hand these stupid warnings out. They are being ordered by leadership to do it. I want to know why.

Support the police. But never kneel to tyranny.
