Excited to announce the release of a new first-author preprint showing that functional connectivity can separate auditory cortex from the multi-sensory language network. 🧠🔤
Thanks to my coauthors @rementurus and @RodBraga!
Grateful for the chance to meet some fantastic science communicators at the ComSciCon Flagship convention in Boston! Trip wouldn’t be complete w/o a visit to Mike’s Pastry

New (and first!) preprint from the Braga Lab!

@judy_yhkwon investigated the parietal memory network (PMN) in densely sampled participants using high-res 7T fMRI.
We saw smaller regions of the PMN that are inconsistently reported, esp. in group maps.
We have one last poster coming up! Joe Salvo (@SalvoJoe), a graduate student in @RodBraga’s lab, presents his deep dive into the language network and visual word forms.

The Braga Lab is at #OHBM2023! This is my first time at @OHBM and I’m grateful to have the chance to learn from other neuroscientists before starting my own graduate training! Check out four posters from @RodBraga’s trainees, spread out across both poster groups:

MRI Self-Portrait by Joseph Salvo
This artwork is inspired by the Woodland art style, also known as "x-ray art" for its depictions of subject's interiors. It aims to provide a glimpse of what lies beyond the surface, while maintaining respect for the subject.
Dressed up as an MRI task for Halloween! Participants press colorful buttons to move the view box on the screen, or to change the text size.
