This week we are rolling out native Bitcoin staking on public testnet.

The purpose of this protocol is simple:

Establish the top of the Cardano Bitcoin DeFi funnel.

At the top of the funnel, capital must face the lowest possible additional assumptions.

▫️No wrapped $BTC.
▫️No custodians.
▫️No bridge custody risk.

Our protocol design keeps Bitcoin native on Bitcoin. Funds remain in Bitcoin UTXOs which are then one-to-one mapped onto Cardano UTXOs. Reward accounting and distribution occur on Cardano.

This creates a trust-minimized entry point for Bitcoin holders who would otherwise avoid bridged systems.

Only after capital is comfortable at the top of the funnel does it move into deeper composability layers such as trustless bridges and other DeFi primitives.

This is how sustainable Bitcoin liquidity begins on Cardano.
