Consider this: Christianity is the most persecuted religion in the world.
There is a word for Mohammedan persecution, that call it Islamophobia.
There is a word for Jewish persecution, they call it Antisemitism.
Why is there no word for Christian persecution? Because we do not capitalise on a victimhood complex. Christians have no interest in becoming a protected characteristic or using a privileged class status to lord it over others. Our faith thrives under persecution. We embrace it, for the purposes of sanctification.
@georgieAM@jewshido@DrewPavlou played massive roles in creating the modern nation of Israel. And we Protestants in general are more supportive of Israel even if we’re not dispensationalists. So of course he’s more in alignment with us. It doesn’t mean that he hates the Orthodox. You need to be more
@DrewPavlou Drew I like you but you’re acting a little bit manic. I don’t know if that’s the right word but something feels off. Especially with that bison video. Look after yourself.
@therealrukshan@ProfJoannaHowe@OzraeliAvi@2worldsPodcast An immigrant can become Australian by nationality but not by ethnicity. It’s not that complicated, I don’t know why we’re arguing about it.
We can argue about whether Anglo-Celtic Australians are a unique ethnicity but the rest of it is just arguing over nothing. It’s obvious.
@KarolineGosling I agree with you about feminism and the conclusions that you’re drawing but the general women bashing is getting a bit tiring. Us straight men love women. Only a gay man or another woman would ever bash women as much as you are.
