Fano and shabiya will try to keep abiy in tigray. Tplf is a proxy for both. Especially shabiya. They wont risk significant losses for tigray.

As for Habesha. The Amhara last I checked are responsible for its expansion. There's a reason almost every emperor was Amhara. They built what we call Ethiopia today.
