@ArtKatona As with most youth sports, it's pay to play. Juniors are where the cream rises to the top. I'm not going to sit here and play armchair college coach with you. If it were easy, everyone would be challenging for a natty.
@ArtKatona Art, it may shock you, but I don't care about youth hockey stats. If college coaches are looking into the tournaments and titles a recruit has won at the age of 12... I'd seriously be wondering where their priorities lie.
@ArtKatona He’s 16, Art. He’s a D-man, so your points on goals scored is moot. Scouts say he moves the puck well, and he’s only going to get better with age and experience playing high level juniors. I’m still waiting to hear where your ideal player is playing.
@ArtKatona You had a whole night to sleep this off, Art… but you’re still blaming the world that all these “bad players” are getting picked up by D1 programs. Again, where are the good players going, if D1 is apparently picking up the scraps?
@ArtKatona Art, if it were so easy, how come you aren’t leading your college program of choice to the Frozen Four, year in and year out? If all these players aren’t cutting it in your eyes, who is your perfect team? Please provide me with real data from eliteprospects.
@ArtKatona Art, I would love to see these spreadsheets. Or is it the eye test? Either way, trashing other players won't change these college coaches' minds.
