Congratulations to this group for becoming champions! A beautiful moment. Come on the @Arsenal! Enjoy, rest and let’s go and win our first champions league! @RealRomfordPele
We all understand the need to balance the nation’s books but you cannot continually ask hospitality to bear the cost year after year - two tier economy . Thanks for highlighting @griffitha
We paid for Angela Rayner’s education. We paid her wages when she worked for the local council. We paid her wages when she became an MP. We even paid the settlement that enabled her to buy a house. Tax payers have funded every aspect of her entire life.
When the Govt is punishing people for having second homes, and raising our taxes after promising not to, having a Deputy PM who dodges £40k in tax on her THIRD home after demanding Tories resign over tax scandals, is spectacular hypocrisy. Angela Rayner’s position is untenable.
Retail sales falling in May - further evidence of the hit to the high street in April from Budget and falling consumer confidence The signs flashing red against further regulatory costs - like packaging and tourism taxes - and action on job tax, business rates and VAT in Autumn
I’m looking to see how many people want Sir Keir Starmer Rachel Reeves and Angela Rayner to RESIGN please like and repost and follow me if you want them to go
Top restaurant bosses warn Budget could force tough decisions - our survey says price rises, investment freeze, hours and headcount cut and business failure amongst independents https://t.co/GJcpl2aX4V
@mattsnell78@UKHofficial This was a very unexpected change and one which requires separate legislation to the Finance Bill to push through so we will be doing all we can to overturn it and also pressing for in year support and mitigations - there is an open letter

Analysis of impact of Budget on hospitality by the excellent team at @UKHofficial here - up to £2500 per worker with hit on prices, jobs and investment. We urge the Chancellor to think again on halving the NIC limit https://t.co/AZqlrTnQej
Interesting debate on what govt spends our money on. Hospitality generates £58bn in tax (£1 in every £3 spent) so equiv to Scottish, Welsh and Home Office Budgets or more than defence spending. Most highly taxed sector of economy as % profits - impossible to bear more
'How much would you charge to have a bacon sandwich with Ed Miliband?'
'I wouldn't charge anything at all.'
As it's revealed Labour offered companies a £30,000 breakfast with the Business Secretary, @NickFerrariLBC can't help but refer to that memorable @Ed_Miliband photograph.
