It was a distinct honour to officiate at the 2nd Annual Real Fathers Learning Convening, held under the noble theme, “Scaling and Sustaining Outcomes of the Real Fathers Programme in Uganda.”
This high-level convening served as a pivotal platform to deliberate on our progress, harness shared insights, and reinforce strategic partnerships dedicated to advancing responsible fatherhood, positive parenting, gender equality, and holistic child and family wellbeing across the nation.
Sustaining the transformative impact of the Real Fathers Programme requires our unwavering commitment, institutional alignment, and collective action. Together, we remain steadfast in ensuring that fathers across Uganda are fully empowered to play an active, meaningful role in nurturing resilient children and building stronger, healthier families.
Dear young men and women , if you have any opportunity to study even when it’s so limited.🤌
Go and seek knowledge………
And those with big opportunity kindly utilize it, Days ahead without education are tough days.

Today on the Floor of Parliament, I called for stronger adolescent-friendly health services in government health facilities, including confidential counselling, trained health workers and accessible care. Our young people need support, not stigma. Let’s turn policy commitments into services that save lives @SRHRAllianceUg@ElmaKapelChalla@SamBegira@MwineTumwebaze@KanyesigyeMerc1@UPFYA_2008@FarajaAfricaFdn
We continue to engage Stakeholders regarding the potential of an empowered young generation.
In today’s engagement, we shared Young people’s priorities with the British High Commissioner to Uganda H.E @LisaJChesney, and we are very grateful for such discussions.

Diplomacy 🇺🇬🇩🇿
As Youth MPs, our visit to the Algerian Embassy was a call for stronger Uganda–Algeria cooperation in education, student exchange programmes, and skills development. We must turn diplomatic ties into tangible opportunities for young people! #YouthLeadership
Engaging with the Algerian Ambassador alongside Regional Youth MPs to explore how best our young people can benefit from the mission. We learnt about the Algerian Government’s scholarship programme, established in 1982, which we hope to leverage to expand educational opportunities and support our youth.
Since 1987, the @AlgeriainUganda has supported Ugandan students through annual scholarship programmes.
We paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mourad Amokrane, Algeria’s Ambassador to Uganda, to explore possible opportunities in education and skills development for Uganda’s young people
