If your representative, Democrat or Republican, is still silent about the Epstein files, or claiming it’s “much ado about nothing,” it’s time to elect a new one. Check their public statements today.

IT'S WORLD ELEPHANT DAY — AUGUST 12!!! 🐘💗
Every August 12, people around the globe rally for elephants. With so much happening in the world, it’s easy to wonder: “Why should I care about elephants?”
Because they’re disappearing fast — and they are so much more than just animals. They need us!
They are:
🌍 Keystone Species — fighting climate change by dispersing seeds, creating water holes, and helping landscapes store carbon.
💗 Matriarchs — proving what’s possible when we lead with wisdom, care, and collaboration.
🐘 Culture — carrying their own rich traditions, forever woven into human culture across Africa and Asia.
👫 Just like us — deeply social, intelligent, sentient beings, deserving of a safe and prosperous future.
Join us this #WorldElephantDay by donating to our Emerging Storyteller Fund — giving the next generation the voice to protect elephants and the communities who live alongside them.

History, you must understand, is not about the past. It’s a lens for understanding the present (that’s why we fight over what gets taught). It’s way of predicting, even determining the future.
This one goes out to all the supporters of keeping public lands PUBLIC! Humans and animals need nature and wilderness areas. Keep them all public for future generations and health of the planet 🌊🌊
The average NBA fan is way smarter than league insiders give them credit for, but they don't always understand the inside baseball of business decisions.
I get why that knowledge gets gate kept, but in an era of information overload, it's time to pull back the curtain.
Take Finals presentation complaints. The NBA could explain why they've simplified court graphics or why logos aren't everywhere. You might not like the answer, but at least you'd know these aren't accidental choices.
Someone pointed out recently that team logos are becoming homogenous. There's probably a reason, be it manufacturing costs, Nike design efficiency, Fanatics fabric margins. Hearing the real explanation would help fans understand. (Again, even if they don't like the answer.)
Give people more credit AND more information. Fans can handle revenue splits, broadcast contracts, uniform deals, scheduling realities. They're not kids who need protection from business truths. A lot of them know the hardships and tough calls that come with running a small biz or department at a company.
Transparency builds trust, even when answers aren't what we want to hear.
This way we spend less time speculating about motivations and talking nonsense on Twitter and and more time appreciating the incredible basketball on the court!
"It's hypocrisy to call yourself a Christian and chase away a refugee or someone seeking help, someone who is hungry or thirsty, toss out someone who is in need of my help... If I say I am Christian, but do these things, I'm a hypocrite."
