@TimHoustonNS Please consider increasing the CCTH budget to reflect the vital role that museums play in tourism! We do not make living wages & our seasonal staff do not have income year round due to this and EI benefits for this type of work.1 increase since 08 @NolanYoungMLA @ColtonLeBlancNS
Acadian community groups in West Chezzetcook, N.S., are planning to turn the former St. Anselm's Roman Catholic Church and an associated house into a community centre and affordable housing.https://t.co/eQ7rwKqVrU
@TimHoustonNS I applaud this but it really should not be the government’s financial responsibility to improve cellular service infrastructure. The consumers pay for this service and it hasn’t been delivered. We should have been louder I suppose. But thank you for addressing it.
Another #novascotia crisis situation that required/s cellular service and we still cannot hold a call in our main service area- Barrington Pass or access internet /calls elsewhere @Bell@TELUS@NolanYoungMLA
@CBCNS And yet I manage two provincial properties that have only received a 10% increase in operational funding since 2008 and employ 7 people for less than a living wage🤔
During the forest fires emergency crews and evacuees could not reliably communicate with each other. News crews could not conduct interviews.
This was inherently dangerous. @bell@TELUS It’s getting worse! Please act!
@Bell cell service in the province of #NovaScotia is abysmal. I cannot keep a connected call from Barrington to Shelburne or even to Liverpool. We are forced to shift to online without the infrastructure to support it @TimHoustonNS@NolanYoungMLA @ColtonLeBlancNS 1/2
@telus @BellAliant couldn’t receive emergency text because of spotty “cell service” ? This is the second provincial emergency that has been extremely challenged due to terrible cellular service! https://t.co/Xg0StYreuj
@telus having a great time trying to navigate emergency road closures to get home with virtually no cell service in most of non urban #novascotia. I recall finding a challenge doing this with the wildfires too. Fix this! My God!
@bellaliant did you know that in most of the Municipality of Barrington, I don’t have enough cellular service to send this tweet? The largest wildfire in NS history and emergency responders couldn’t even communicate as a result of poor or non-existent service.
