I’m honored to have the endorsement of @emilyslist, and I look forward to making history as the first Democratic woman to serve as Rhode Island’s Attorney General. Our campaign is about protecting Rhode Islanders’ safety and defending our fundamental rights, including the right to control our own bodies. As the only pro-choice woman in this race, I’m ready to stand up and fight on behalf of all Rhode Islanders.
I want to wish a very happy Pride to everyone across our beautiful state. I’m so proud to be a part of Rhode Island’s vibrant, diverse, and welcoming LGBTQ+ community. As your next Attorney General, I will always fight for your right to live your life authentically. 🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️

I am thankful for former Attorney General Jeff Pine's support in this race. In many ways, my background is similar to Attorney General Pine’s when he first sought this office, having spent nearly a decade bringing Rhode Island’s most violent criminals to justice. He knows what it takes to fight corruption, address domestic violence, safeguard our students, protect our seniors, and make our state safer and stronger, and I’m honored to have him with me in this fight. #TeamKim
Over the past three decades, Rhode Island has become a stronger and more inclusive place, and Representative Ajello has been a driving force behind so much of that progress. I am honored to have Representative Ajello's support in this campaign, and I look forward to working together to stand up to the Trump administration and continue moving our state forward. #TeamKim
There’s going to be a lot of pressure on Haley Stevens to drop out of the race, which is typical of the Bernie Bro left that always wants to see women fail. Personally, I would feel betrayed as a woman if she doesn’t hang in there and see this thing through.
Since our kids are lucky enough to have two moms, Mother’s Day is a big deal for us 😉
Kidding aside, Happy Mother’s Day to all the women out there who mother in so many different ways, including all the aunties, grandmas, friends, and honorary mamas who help us all. It truly takes a village. You are inspiring to me, and I hope you get to enjoy the day. 💐
I also know this day can feel heavy for many. My first Mother’s Day as mom was also my first Mother’s Day after losing my mom, and it’s been hard ever since. I miss my Mom a lot on days like today. For those that feel similar, I hope the day lands gently for you 🙏
Happy Teacher Appreciation Week! I am beyond grateful for all the incredible teachers across our state, and their dedication to helping our children learn and grow! 🍎
Last night, I got to celebrate Young Voices' 20th anniversary and see one of my lifelong favorite teachers too, Rick Battistoni. I’m grateful to have met Rick when I was 18 years old as a college student at PC and still appreciate his teaching (and friendship) all these years later.
.@JamesTalarico: I’m an elderly millennial. I can’t stay up past 10pm, my joints ache, and my younger cousins call me cringe. They also call me ‘unc,’ whatever that means. But Gen Z — freed from illusions — is uniquely suited to lead us at this moment.
Many of you grew up on the For You Page. The endless scroll is emblematic of what humans have been doing for hundreds of thousands of years: searching. If we scroll past one more tweet, one more TikTok, maybe we’ll find what we’re looking for — the one that will make us feel something.
But what you’re looking for can’t be found on artificial platforms run by billionaires. It’s within you.
Thirteen years ago today, on May 2nd, 2013, the Rhode Island Legislature legalized same-sex marriage. My wife Jenna and I had the honor of being present in the House chamber that day with our dear friend Rep. Chris Blazejewski, who gave this speech about our wedding day.
Even though we met and fell in love here, we had to leave to get married, because it wasn’t legal then. Today, I am thinking about all the people, advocates, legislators, and groups that worked so hard to make my marriage (and so many others) a reality, and especially those that are no longer with us ❤️ #loveislove #TeamKim
I refuse to accept a world in which my daughters have fewer rights than my wife and I did growing up. As your next Attorney General, I will use every tool available to defend access to essential healthcare, like mifepristone.

Happy May Day to all Rhode Island workers! 💪
This is a photo from my very first time speaking as a candidate for Attorney General - and I’m proud to say that it was not at a fundraiser for myself, but in conversation with the hardworking men and women of the RI Building Trades Council. As I said then and I say now, as your next AG I will be ready on day one to defend worker’s rights.
