KEN PAXTON, appearing on @RuthlessPodcast earlier today, said his meeting with Thune was “very gracious” and focused on “working together.”
On GOP coming together post-primary: “You can't make everybody come together, but you can certainly try to reach out and I personally just move on from any things that were said you didn't appreciate, but you know, it's a campaign, you know how they are. And you know this one was somewhat tough at times, but it doesn't matter anymore. We got to go on and beat the Democrat. That's the key. The guy that I'm running against, as you well know, is quite radical and maybe would have trouble getting elected in California. He's so radical.”
Sen. Ted Cruz: "To allow federal law failings of Congress to kill off everyone but the SEC and Big Ten I’m from Texas; look, I love the SEC and Big Ten. They’re incredible institutions. But I also love all of the rest of institutions that make college sports so fantastic."
When I ran for Congress 8 years ago – it was because I knew that God had given me more time on this earth after beating cancer to serve our nation and to make America freer and stronger.
Over four terms, I have unapologetically fought to do that – letting the Constitution and the principles of limited government it reflects be my guide.
I am proud of my record – imperfect of course – but rooted in my belief in God and in a nation that exists to preserve the rights of man against Marxism, Islamism, and the oppression of tyranny… even the ever-increasing tyranny of our own government at home.
I have fought hard and without fear – trying to follow the law and do things the right way. It matters that leaders stand up and say what needs to be said no matter the consequences – or we stand to lose it all in the pursuit of political expediency.
In my campaign for Attorney General of Texas, I wanted to fight for Texans as their lawyer on the critical fights of our day: that Texas is not free enough, not secure enough, not strong enough, not Godly enough – and too often… is being sold to the highest bidder.
I tried to run a campaign worthy of this great state in which my family has lived since 1853. I tried to be tough but honest. I tried to earn the support of the voters of Texas, not to buy it… and I tried to tell the people the truth, not lies.
I am proud of my campaign. And I am proud of and humbled by the support from so many Texans – volunteers, donors, colleagues, friends, family, and people from all walks of life. In the words of the Apostle Paul, “[we] fought the good fight, [we] finished the race, [we] kept the faith.”
it was not our time.
But this is all God’s time. And we are all just living within it.
We have a state and a nation to save.
Onward.
Here's the bill, which is a long way from ever becoming law. The step of introduction is notable -- and the industry clearly needs help -- but the chances are still low something actually happens. https://t.co/1AY0SLosyG

A vote for @KenPaxtonTX in November is a vote for a safer, stronger, and more prosperous America. He has my endorsement and support.
James Talarico is a far-left extremist. He is a rubber stamp for open borders, illegal immigrant criminals, and men playing in women’s sports. Talarico is too radical for Texas.
Ken will be a key member of our Senate Republican majority fighting for America First.
Thank you, Texas. Together, we just made history.
Now, we must unite to defeat the most well-funded, radical Democrat in America. Join my team and donate to get in the fight: https://t.co/rQl0P2UnWU

Steven Bartlett says a few glasses of wine ruined the next 3 days of his life
“It's one of those areas where you don't understand the hidden cost until you really give it up for a while. I stopped drinking at 30 years old. I'm now 33. When I was 31, I thought, I'll have a drink again because now I could really A/B test it. I had a year of not drinking, decided to have a drink again”
“It ruined three days of my life. I had a couple of glasses of wine, didn't get drunk. It ruined three days of my life because of the domino effect it caused”
“I got worse sleep that night, and then because I got worse sleep that night, I ate more poorly the next day because my dopamine system or whatever, the cortisol system was all messed up. I podcasted worse. I didn't go to the gym that day or the day after because I felt really bad. I then slept worse, and I could track all of this on my Whoop”
New: @JonBonckTX's campaign just sent @ShellydeZev's campaign a cease & desist letter demanding retraction of text messages that accused Bonck of being "caught providing mortgages to illegal immigrants at Colony Ridge." #TX38
The texts cite a @WayneDolcefino video, per the letter.
“When you elect Chip Roy as Attorney General, he will immediately become the leading Conservative Attorney General in the nation” Texas Senator @tedcruz
When I decided to run to represent North Missouri - one of the first conversations I had about it was with my friend of almost 30 years - @RepMarkAlford Tonight, he opened his campaign office and I was honored to be a part of it. As I told his supporters tonight, Mark has shown me it is possible to travel to Washington - represent your constituents well - while maintaining your integrity and walk with the Lord. I’m thankful for Mark’s leadership, and even more thankful for his friendship.
