DC's Office of the People's Counsel is alerting residents that another Pepco rate increase is scheduled to go into effect June 1 -- and calls out the Public Service Commission for not going back to prior rates, after the DC Court of Appeals vacated the latest rate hike in March.
NEWS: D.C. officials are preparing for new federal work requirements for SNAP food benefits recipients to go into effect on June 1. They estimate that out of the 133.5k individuals who currently get SNAP, roughly half could be impacted by new work requirements.
