This is Lords-and-ladies (Arum maculatum) - an incredible species that has a specially designed #flower to attract flies for pollination and a club-shaped spike which releases a urine-like odour🌼

For me, the standout sequence of the first episode of #WildIsles was that of the humble cuckoopint, though the golden eagles hunting barnacle geese were pretty spectacular and the puffins bravely dodging gulls memorable, too.
