CFP® helping financial advisors use AI to create better content in less time. Simple systems that work. Amplify newsletter → practical prompts + frameworks
I used to spend 12 hours/week creating content for my advisory practice.
Now I spend 90 minutes.
Here's what changed (and why every advisor needs to pay attention):
The best advisors aren't the ones who grind nonstop.
They're the ones who understand that taking care of themselves is part of taking care of their clients.
Schedule breaks.
Doing a favor for an advisor of mine who is looking for a few new people to join his growing independent RIA.
(Last time I did this, it led to a new hire)

Two open roles:
1. Associate Advisor (Remote Position)
2. Client Service Associate or Operations Lead (Remote Position)
Description:
--High growth RIA led by founder with a 20-year institutional investment background who has MBA, CFA, CPA.
--The firm is around 5 years old, so the future growth opportunity of the role does not have limits. >$400M AUM and adding >$100M per year
--Looking for learning machines who are passionate about partnering with clients, continuous improvement and teamwork.
--Open to any experience level but at least 2-3+ years of related but not exact experience and with an independent RIA a plus.
--Business owner niche with tax efficient and investment-led focus. HNW to UHNW client partners.
--No sales responsibilities but not opposed to it. The funnel does not require additional prospects.
--Flexible on taking the positions to whatever makes sense for the person’s interests and capabilities.
--For Associate Advisor, CFP, CFA or CPA/EA preferred as well as Bachelor’s degree and ability to take over $1-5M+ AUM clients as lead or team approach over the coming years.
Before you post anything, ask yourself one question:
"Would my ideal client stop scrolling for this?"
Not "is this good?" Not "is this smart?" Not "will my peers be impressed?"
Would the person you actually want to work with care enough to read it?
If yes, post it. If no, make it more specific to their world and try again.
Every time AI generates "you should" and you change it to "one thing worth considering," you're doing something most content creators can't do.
You're making AI output trustworthy.
Compliance doesn't slow you down. It makes your content better than the unregulated stuff flooding every platform. Your readers feel the difference even if they can't explain why.
Your first 20 posts won't be your best work. That's not failure. That's the process.
The advisor who posted 50 mediocre posts and slowly figured out their voice is miles ahead of the advisor who's been planning the perfect first post for six months.
You can't edit something that doesn't exist yet. Write it. Post it. Get better.
Nobody hires a financial advisor because of a Twitter post.
They hire you because your content made them feel like you already understood their situation. The post got their attention. The consistency built trust. The voice made them think "this person gets me."
Your content isn't the sale. It's the introduction.
Next time you're writing a client email and the tone isn't quite right, try this:
Paste what you've written into Claude or ChatGPT and ask: "Make this sound warmer without making it longer."
One sentence. Instant improvement. Works well most of the time.
Week 1 of posting: your mom likes it.
Week 4: a colleague you haven't talked to in years sends a DM.
Week 12: a prospect mentions they've been reading your posts.
Week 26: someone you've never met books a discovery call and says "I feel like I already know you."
That's the timeline. It's slower than you want and faster than you think.
Friday tip for advisors using AI:
Paste your best post from this month into Claude or ChatGPT. Ask it what made the post work and to generate 3 new ideas based on the same patterns.
60 seconds. Monday's content is handled.
Your best content already contains the blueprint for your next content. You just have to ask.
Your voice is the one thing no other advisor can copy.
It's also the one thing AI can't generate on its own.
Capture it. Train AI on it. Use it everywhere.
The best advisors I know don't have a knowledge problem. They have a communication problem.
They know what to recommend. They struggle with how to explain it in a way that clicks instantly.
That's where AI shines. Not replacing your expertise. Translating it.
"I tried AI and it didn't work."
No. You typed "write a LinkedIn post about retirement" with zero context about your voice, your niche, or your compliance boundaries.
AI doesn't fail advisors. Vague prompts fail advisors.
Your clients are forming opinions about AI right now.
At some point they'll ask, "What AI do you use in your practice?"
The advisor with a clear, thoughtful answer wins trust. You don't need to be an expert. You just need to have thought about it.
The best financial content doesn't teach people something new.
It helps them finally understand something they've heard a hundred times.
That's what a good analogy does.
Your clients don't understand what "tax-loss harvesting" means.
But they do understand "getting a coupon from Uncle Sam when your investments dip."

The best advisors don't simplify by dumbing down. They simplify by connecting.
