£26436.80 is the new min wage annual salary (40 hrs p/wk).
And as the min wage rises, regular salaries don't. So many people will begin to ask themselves 'why am I working this highly stressful job that needed qualifications and a tonne of bullshit paperwork and police checks just to earn 5k more a year than I would stacking shelves at Lidl?'
@DecayedSky@GroBmisconduct2 What does a man’s political view have to do with his managerial ability? Surely to fuck in this multi billion £ industry, clubs aren’t hiring based on their opinions on stuff outside of football?
@GroBmisconduct2 For the record if it helps you sleep easier, I think greenwood is a piece of shit and shouldn’t be playing professional football. And yes, rape is bad and it’s not woke to think that😂 it’s woke to chuck RDZ into the same bag as greenwood. One’s a rapist , one isn’t.
@GroBmisconduct2 Yeah cus that’s what I said didn’t I…take it out of context why don’t you.
I’m not talking about Greenwood playing for us am I, I’m talking about RDZ (who didn’t do the raping and is very good at his job)
#BHAFC fans not wanting de Zerbi back purely because he managed Greenwood, or because he’s a “hot head” are a bunch of idiots. He’s the best manager we’ve had in the new era, is passionate, created a unity between club and fans, gave us Europe
But but… 😢he’s not woke enough🤦🏼♂️
@SeagullSimon Agree with the fact that he’s more than likely never coming back. Just absolutely baffles me that some people would oppose it anyway just because of said reasons. Also 99% of debates on here are pointless so that remark was also pointless haha
@JustinRedford7@BrightonBuzzz How did he not fit? I don’t get this narrative. He literally achieved exactly what the club is aiming for? Can we only employ “nice” managers? Are we choosing being nice over success? Madness
Not that he would come back to us anyway, but seeing people not wanting him back based on the above reasons is absolutely mind blowing 😂 they’d rather see a do-gooder in charge than a top manager, wow
@Puffin_CPFC@sussexbythesea4 Multiple? If you’re counting the charity shield then we’ve won a major too😅At least we can say we’ve held our own against the big boys in a big European competition while u lot are getting beat by alphabetti spaghetti teams in the 2 bob conference. I’ll cling on to that anyway😂
🗣️ RDZ on why he left Brighton, this hits hard...😢
On missing Brighton:
“First of all, before saying why, I really miss Brighton. I miss my players a lot. I miss them because I really care for them. I miss the city of Brighton that has its own essence. I miss the seagulls, I miss the wind."
“I had a special connection with this city. I would walk around the city or on the shore with a cap, glasses and Airpods in the rain and I was able to escape with my thoughts. It is something I was only able to do there. I am still very grateful to [owner] Tony Bloom and [chief executive] Paul Barber who gave me the chance to be a coach in the best league in the world."
Why he ultimately left:
“But we had a different vision. Not in terms of transfers and signings, not because of a player more or a player less, not about the doctors, but about the vision for the foreseeable future of the club. Because that year [after finishing sixth] the squad should’ve been strengthened as they did the year I left."
“In Brighton we reached a point where after qualifying for the Europa League I didn’t understand what the next step forward was. And you can offer to double my salary, but if I can’t see a dream or the goal to achieve, I can’t give my all as I would like. I would lose motivation and a purpose I always had in football. Some said we were on bad terms, but that’s not true. Tony Bloom is a genius. Paul Barber, he’s one of the best chief executives. It’s just that at that time it was either raising the bar or my job was done there. This is why I decided to go and leave the club even though unwillingly, almost suffering.”

I am firmly opposed to @Keir_Starmer’s digital ID cards.
It will make no difference to illegal immigration, but it will be used to control and penalise the rest of us.
The state should never have this much power.
@HTripp_@BalebaAndHove Don’t think he was saying Gomez’ performance wasn’t good mate, think he meant that it might not be a good thing we’ve now got 6 cm’s that are good enough to be starting and only 2 will be on the, pitch playing time wise 😅 Either way I’d rather have too many than not enough
