Gadi Moses, 81 years old, who was brutally kidnapped from Kibbutz Nir Oz, said upon returning to Israel hours ago, "I will do everything in my power to rebuild Nir Oz” . The story of Israel🇮🇱
It was a pleasure hosting today my dear friend Yechiel Leiter, incoming Ambassador of 🇮🇱 to the 🇺🇸 days before he assumes his position. Yechiel I have no doubt that with your wisdom, experience, and incredible life story, you will take the US-Israel relationship to new heights.
The decision this week by Spain, Ireland and Norway to recognize a Palestinian state is both shameful and dangerous. It rewards the worst attack on Jews since the Holocaust and effectively turns October 7th into Palestinian Independence Day. What a disgrace!
My interview with @abcnews
Thank you Speaker of the Knesset @AmirOhana for graciously hosting the prominent Ha’asefa delegation of Jewish leadership from São Paulo. Keren Hayesod @khuia appreciates your hospitality and leadership.
Met with the Keren HaYesod delegation of Jewish communal leadership from Sao Paolo, Brazil, to talk about Israel's strategic vision for combating terror & antisemitism worldwide. Thank you for your solidarity & for reaffirming the imperishable bond between Israel & diaspora Jews.

From today’s @CIJ_ICJ ruling:
“The order then states that the
court deems it necessary to emphasize that all parties to the conflict in the Gaza Strip are bound by international humanitarian law.

The historic “Glory of Israel” synagogue was established in 1872. It was destroyed during Israel’s War of Independence in 1948.
Now, 75 years after its destruction, the historic synagogue is being rebuilt.

I unequivocally condemn the permission granted in Sweden to burn holy books. As the President of Israel, I condemned the burning of the Quran, sacred to Muslims world over, and I am now heartbroken that the same fate awaits a Jewish Bible, the eternal book of the Jewish people.
A pleasure hosting @Israel_Bachar_ incoming Consul General to @IsraelinLA, who will succeed @Hillel_Newman who has done an outstanding job. As someone who held this position, I know how crucial it is for the US- Israel relationship. Good luck Israel! Your success is our success!
Thank you @eshanken and @JewishVancouver for a wonderful and inspiring visit and thank you for your leadership and partnership. I will definitely be back!
Spending the day with @khuia World Chairman @SamGrundwerg and Dir Mika showing them around #Vancouver and introducing them to some of @JewishVancouver finest like my friend @garysegal.This is Sam’s first time in #BC and we hope it is not his last. Come back soon #StrongerTogether
Devastated and saddened by the brutal attack on the synagogue in Djerba, Tunisia killing four people, including 2 Jews. We at @khuia are assisting the victims' families through the Terror Victims' fund of the @JewishAgency and closely monitoring the situation.
Last week, I had the opportunity to be in Israel during its 75th anniversary, a really unique experience. Israel is passing through a historical moment, and even though 75 years may seem like a long time, for many issues, 75 years are not so many.
In these years Israel became a world power. And I don’t mean in science or innovation. Israel became a world power in People. Not only because of the people in Israel, but also because of all the people of Israel.
This week, I had the occasion to exchange ideas with more than one hundred community leaders from 45 different countries, all of whom are working together in Keren Hayesod for a common purpose.
Keren Hayesod was founded more than 100 years ago and played a central role in helping to build Israel, to improve the life of its citizens, and give jewish people, from all over the world, a second chance.
Today, more than 100 years after its foundation, Keren Hayesod continues to work based on the same purpose.
During this week, at the Annual Keren Hayesod Worldwide Congress, I was honored with the International Avi-Jai Award for Young Leadership. Although this award may seem like a personal one, it recognizes the work of thousands of volunteers and donors who, year over year, stand for the people of Israel, across the world.
Thanks to @SamGrundwerg, @StevenMLowy, @AlonFutterman, @SergioOberlander66, #Edna, #Dani, #Sacky, and all the family of @KHuia for such a great recognition.
Consul General @AmirLati1 spoke at the annual UIA dinner event last night - a great opportunity to witness the commitment of the unique Jewish Community of Hong Kong & friends of Israel to the State of Israel. Special thanks to @khuia global chair @SamGrundwerg for coming to HK
Productive meeting today with the Speaker of Knesset @AmirOhana . I wished him a happy Passover on behalf of myself and @khuia. The Knesset is the center of Israel's robust democracy and a natural place to advance our work and to advocate for the unity of our people.
My friend @EliBeerUH, President of United Hatzalah, is a walking miracle who creates daily miracles for others. Thank you and all the volunteers who dedicate their lives to saving lives. I look forward to deepening the relationship between @khuia and @UnitedHatzalah.
A year has passed since the start of war in Ukraine. I look back at the emergency campaign we at @khuia led with the @JewishAgency resulting in the aliyah of tens of thousands of Jews to 🇮🇱. May it serve as a reminder of our obligation to one another in times of crisis & routine
