3/3 Overall a really interesting time in Batman's history, focus was on detective work and street level stories. Bruce Wayne's there but it's primarily Batman. My favourite was a story where 3 police officers recount their different encounters with Batman, it hit the feels.

2/3 There's a high body count, lot of regular citizens killed by serial killers and general gangsters, very different to the Batman I’m used to. It was just before Death in the Family so Jason Todd's Robin is a big part, it's interesting how he was used, heroic but troublesome
