Can’t express how grateful I am to the SickKids surgery family for these past two years!
Humbled and thrilled to stay with the SickKids family as faculty and member of the GIFT (short bowel/intestinal rehab) team in the fall. #pedsurg
The late Dr. Brad Warner dedicated his research to improving outcomes for short bowel syndrome. This study builds on that work.
“These preclinical findings represent a crucial leap forward," says Dr. Colin Martin, director of the Division of Pediatric Surgery.

It was an honor to welcome Dr. Mikko Pakarinen from Helsinki as our SickKids Simpson Ein Visiting Professor. His grand rounds in pediatric intestinal failure pushed us to look ahead with much optimism — also glad we got to introduce him to Korean bbq! @SickKidsNews#pedsurg

Brad was one of the best - phenomenal surgeon, leader, scientist, educator, mentor, and one of the kindest people one can ever know. He was an amazing pillar of support to so many of us across the nation.

Thank you to Dr Martina Kohl for the invitation to speak at the 33rdHPE mtg for Pediatric IF in Frankfurt. It was fantastic to share ideas with such great people. The trip was made better by sharing my session (and a beer and schnitzel) with my close friend Yaron Avitzur.
That’s a wrap! Another outstanding PIFRS meeting! Thanks to the organizers for putting on an incredible program. It was great to see everyone from around the globe dedicated to children with IF! Thank you to my fantastic team at Cincinnati Children’s. Looking forward to CIIRTA25!
Starting the academic year off strong with Drs. Ramjist and Saluja leading our Quality and Performance Conference followed by Fellow SCORE lecture on neonatal obstruction! #PedSurg
